While we do serve a wide range of businesses, our passion is serving the agricultural community. Mark Poorman was raised on a small farm, and developed deep ties to agriculture through his extensive involvement in the FFA program. This was strengthened in college by achieving a degree in Accounting with an minor in agricultural business management, and continues today. In addition to operating a CPA firm, Mark operates a farm raising trees and natural beef. These ties to agriculture give Mark the background and understanding of agriculture to allow him to work closely with a wide variety of agricultural businesses.

- Bachelors of Science, Oregon State University, 1983. Major in Business Administration / Accounting, Minor in Agricultural Business Management.
- Masters In Business Administration, Pacific Lutheran University, 1989. Major in Business Management.
- Certified Public Accountant, State of Oregon, 1983.
Professional Experience:
- Self Employed Certified Public Accountant since 1993
- Simpson Timber Company, Shelton, WA, Held a variety of positions culminating as Controller over all Oregon and Washington timberlands. 1985 – 1993.
Personal Interest / Activities:
- Dedicated to family life, spending a significant amount of time with my children, grandchildren, and elderly parents.
- Treasurer, Bellfountain Community Church
- Volunteer Firefighter for the Monroe Rural Fire Department
- Enjoy fishing when not farming or working as a CPA.
